If the call goes by an SIP-trunk you can change the call duration timer in the SIP profile

I haven't quoted the Microsoft side of this - but if you find good resources let us know.  I see this as being the preferred integration going forward as Microsoft has a pretty robust product there....

We keep a laptop pre-loaded with Wireshark and a switch pre-configured with a mirror port on hand for just such cases.  We use a remote access tool call Bomgar - so when the laptop has internet, we can remote control it - no matter where it is.  Very handy.  Just used this setup a couple of weeks ago to sniff a Toshiba phone system problem over the WAN.  PBX vendor claimed it was the WAN, I (as WAN vendor) claimed it was not.  Wireshark gave me the ammunition to push it back to the Toshiba dealer.

Thankfully that vendor is very easy to work with, so they install the lappy and switch to allow me to get the traces.  However I have walked a somewhat tech savvy end user through he process before without much difficulty.

Anyone have any experience with these applications being ran over a broadband network such as Verizon, Sprint, or ATT?  There seem to be some authentication issues going from a wireless/wired Cable/DSL connection which works great authenticating and performance than it does with wireless broadband cards which causes the YA application to load slow and return with a - hostname\usernme does not have an account on the YA server.

I've been trying to get the customer to run one and send it to me, but the teleworker phone is 6+ hours from me, and there's no way either organization is going to pay to send me to the phone, so I've just been waiting.

No I'm not clear again if you're using a hunt group or ACD.
Try the simple thing first, change the timer in your ACD path and test.   If that doesn't change it, create a new COS for the hunt group and change the timer there.

There's nothing in COS or COR that would control this.
Are the phones programmed for the same COR for day, night1 and night2?   If you have a console, the default COS will log it out after 10 minutes if there is no activity on it.  This can change you from day mode to night mode and if your COR is different it could be blocked.

What exactly are your symptoms?  No dial tone?  Locked keypad?  Completely dead?
What, if anything, do you do to bring it back on line or do you just wait a while and it starts working again?

On a 3300 PBX, a phone controlled through a MiTAI app can't make any calls after being idle for about 10 minutes.
Would this have to do anything with the COS options for the PBX?
Is it possible it's a phone setting?
